Hopeful News for a Client with Keratoconus
One of my clients in the UK has lived with keratoconus for over 15 years. Her vision was so poor that her doctors recently recommended preparing for a corneal transplant (DALK) — a risky surgery.
But at her latest eye exam, something surprising happened:
👁 Vision with contact lenses improved from 20/80 → 20/40
That’s a four-step jump in just 3 months.
His doctor was shocked — normally, vision might improve by only one step, not four.
What changed?
Since February 2025, she has been practicing Self Body Make (SBM) daily, while also taking:
Lily and Gold enzyme paste (over 2 years)
Glucosamine & calcium (started in June)
She still remains a transplant candidate, but this improvement is encouraging and motivating. Even her eye discharge after lessons shows her body is releasing what it doesn’t need.
This result gives us hope: with the right care, the body can sometimes surprise us.
