Restoring Balance and Stability — The Power of SBM Practice

First Lesson with a New Client

Today, I had the pleasure of welcoming a new client for her very first SBM lesson.

She had carefully created her own “SBM Notes”, writing down her reflections and the changes she experienced since her trial lesson on October 23.
I was deeply moved by how sincerely she has been facing her own body.

Everything we discussed during the trial lesson had been faithfully practiced —
and now, she can do SBM for 30 minutes at a time.
Her movements today were completely different — as if she were a new person.
It was clear how seriously she had dedicated herself during these ten days.

During her first session, it was very difficult for her to move her neck.
She has a neurological and autoimmune condition, which causes instability in her body’s core.
Because of that, she could not properly support her neck, and when lying on her back, her head would drop heavily onto the mat.

After continuing SBM, she experienced a healing reaction.
She shared with me:

“My eyes hurt badly — especially my left one.
The next afternoon, tears started to flow from both my eyes and nose, and it continued until the evening.”

Even through that discomfort, she didn’t stop.
She continued her SBM calmly and with trust.

There was a clear reason for the pain in her left eye, which I explained during today’s session.
She also mentioned, “I feel like my pelvis moved.”

Indeed — when I checked, the difference in her pelvic height, which had been about 2 cm ten days ago, had now reduced to just 0.5 cm.
Her knee pain had eased, her hip movement became smoother,
and even her sleep had improved:

“I used to only be able to sleep on my stomach,
but now I can sleep comfortably on my back!”

Her first official lesson today was 45 minutes + 45 minutes,
and she was able to complete it at a relaxed and steady pace.

During tea time after the session, she softly said:

“I just want to feel healthy again.
I want to show my grandchildren that I’m well.”

Her words touched my heart deeply.
It was such a beautiful and inspiring start to her SBM journey.

Let’s continue this path together —
I’m cheering for you from the bottom of my heart.
