How to care osteoporosis ?









The word 體 "body" means "rich in bones
Its an old style Japanese Kanji 
 
The key to a long and healthy life is to build rich bones from a young age, and to keep the bone reserves intact once you have reached your peak.
 


In 2022, we should all take care of our bodies!
This is the reason why I wrote it.
 
 
The other day
 
I received an update from a classmate

"I've been on osteoporosis treatment for a year now.
It's been a year...nothing improved it yet "
 
What treatment? What do they do? 
 

It's simple: medication to stop the excessive movement of osteoclasts and vitamin D.

(I am not sure if this is the same for all treatments in Japan)
 
 
Osteoclasts and osteoblasts balance each other to replace the bone.
If you know how osteoblasts and osteoclasts work together, you will understand.
 
However, I recommend different way 

Building rich bones from a young age
We all get older, so it is important to build up a good bone stock from a young age.
We all age, so it is important to take care of our bones
Take care of yourself
 
Osteoporosis does not cause any symptoms.
When you notice it, it's too late.
I'm going to take care of myself this year.
 
As prevention
Light daily exercise, sunshine, calcium, isoflavones and vitamins!
