I want to share something personal with you today.

Because before I became an SBM instructor — before I spent 15 years helping clients in London — I was the one lying on the floor, unable to move properly.

BEFORE: My Body Was Falling Apart

In my 30s, I started noticing things I couldn't ignore.

Chronic tension in my neck and shoulders that never fully released. Fatigue that no amount of rest could fix. A heaviness in my lower back that made simple movements feel like effort. My posture was suffering. My energy was suffering. And deep down, I knew something was fundamentally wrong with the way my body was aligned.

I tried everything I could find. Massage. Stretching. Exercise. They gave me temporary relief — sometimes an hour, sometimes a day. But the tension always came back. The heaviness always returned.

Nobody was addressing why my body felt the way it did. They were treating the symptoms. Not the cause.


THE TURNING POINT: Discovering SBM

I remember my first session clearly. For the first time, someone explained to me what was actually happening in my body. Within months, the chronic fatigue I had accepted as "just how I am" began to lift. My energy returned. My body felt lighter. More balanced. More like mine.

And something else happened that I didn't expect.

I understood — for the first time — what it felt like to be in my body rather than fighting against it.

That understanding changed everything. It's why I trained to become a certified SBM instructor. It's why I brought SBM to London. It's why I've spent 15 years teaching others what was once taught to me.
