Here are my reflections on the 6-hour Detox Seminar.

Thank you very much for taking such good care of me over the two days 😊

Here are my reflections on the 6-hour Detox Seminar.

After continuing the lower back exercises for one or two hours, my body started to hurt. However, by taking short breaks and doing stretching and different movements, the stiffness and discomfort were relieved.

By exercising for such a long time, I realised that many of my habits and movement patterns started to appear. I was amazed that simply adjusting the position of my lower back slightly made the movements much easier. I truly felt how important it is to have a teacher correct even small habits.

I also learned a lot from listening to the other participants. I was especially impressed by Chan’s deep trust in SBM. “Active Meditation” is really the perfect expression for SBM.

Looking back, I noticed some discharge on the night after the seminar. It may have been the first time since menopause. I assume this is also part of the detox process.

I have continued to feel sleepy after the seminar — the following day and even today. However, I was able to wake up properly and go to work this morning, even though I felt sleepy. It feels different from my usual fatigue-related sleepiness. Judging from how clearly my mind was working, I think I actually had more energy than usual today.

Today I noticed that it was easier to maintain good posture while sitting in my office chair, and I remembered Chan-san’s comment. Perhaps my abdominal and back muscles have become a little stronger.

My thighs are slightly sore, which I think is because I walked around the city with the belt on the first day — I walked 15,000 steps! Other than that, I have no physical problems.

It was relatively warm today, but I also noticed that I didn’t feel cold at work at all. Usually, after sitting for 30 minutes, I start sneezing, quickly put on my jacket, then get hot and take it off — repeating the cycle. That didn’t happen today.

After fasting for a day and then enjoying the wonderful breakfast the next morning, I felt a strong desire to put proper, nourishing food into my body. Even though I was sleepy this morning, I was able to make miso soup.

Last night, I walked home looking at the bright white moon just before the full moon. Tonight, it is an orange full moon.

As I look at the moon, I find myself thinking that I would like to live more carefully and mindfully, like Professor Kubokawa. I hope I won’t give up after just three days 😆

The London Detox Seminars are in March, July, and November, right?

I would love to join again!
