Out of the 24 hours available each day, how much time do you dedicate to safeguarding your health?
Thank You for Your Questions
I am grateful for the many inquiries I continue to receive about SBM.
At present, I am offering a complimentary 15-minute consultation for individuals residing in the UK.
While my communication in English is still developing, the thoughtful questions I receive have been invaluable. Each one highlights important perspectives and allows me to refine the way I share SBM with a wider audience.
- When SBM May Not Be Appropriate
During a recent consultation call, I was reminded that SBM is not suitable for everyone. There are certain cases where the approach does not align with the individual’s mindset or readiness. Examples include:
* Individuals who hold a passive mindset, expecting others to “fix” their condition rather than taking an active role themselves
* Those who state from the outset, “I don’t have time to practice SBM daily”
* Individuals who disregard or suppress signals of pain and discomfort
The body is always communicating. Lifestyle choices, eating habits, and movement patterns provide clear feedback. These signals—however subtle—are the body’s way of saying:
“Something needs to change.”
Chronic Neck Pain and SBM
One recent inquiry asked:
“Can SBM help with chronic neck pain? I currently receive acupuncture for other issues.”
The short answer is: Yes, SBM can address chronic neck pain.
This does not imply that acupuncture or other external treatments are without value. However, SBM differs in its principle: we avoid external interventions such as massage, shiatsu, or acupuncture.
The core purpose of SBM is to restore alignment and function by drawing upon the body’s innate ability to heal—empowering individuals to improve their own condition.
Health as the Highest Priority
Sustainable improvement is only possible when one truly values their own body. Health is the foundation of all aspects of life, yet it is often recognized only after it has been compromised.
A critical question to reflect on is:
Out of the 24 hours available each day, how much time do you dedicate to safeguarding your health?
Clients at Lily and Gold who practice SBM typically devote around one hour daily. Every person begins modestly—sometimes with just a few minutes—but the consistency of practice, paired with attentiveness to the body’s signals, is what leads to transformation.
For those experiencing chronic conditions spanning years or even decades—such as persistent headaches, shoulder stiffness, neck pain, or lower back discomfort—these are clear indicators of longstanding imbalance.
A Commitment to Self-Healing
Excuses such as “I am too busy”or “I cannot get enough rest”are understandable but ultimately prevent meaningful change.
Time is finite.
Healing cannot be outsourced; it begins with a conscious decision:
“I will take responsibility for my own recovery.”
For those who make this commitment, SBM provides a proven pathway to restoration—and I am here to offer my full support in that journey.
